What we do

Eight services, one crew, one number.

Our Crew. Our Work.
We do not subcontract our work. Your project is completed by the Harrison Asphalt team.

The Harrison week

From estimate to finished, inside a week.

Most companies book you out for months. Here, the whole thing, from your free estimate to a surface your customers can park on, usually starts inside a week, and on a smaller lot the paving itself is a single day.

Estimate

We measure it

The owner measures most sites himself and hands you a written price. No charge, no pressure.

Scheduled

You get a date

A real paving day goes on the calendar, usually just a few days out, and that is the day the trucks show up.

Paving day

Done in a day

Base, grade and compaction, then paver and roller. On a smaller lot it is start to finish in a single day.

+24 hrs

It cures

You can usually park on it the next day. Go easy on sharp turns and heavy loads for the first few weeks.

Finished

Within the week

From your estimate to the finished surface, most smaller projects are completed within a week.

Bigger lots take longer. Multi-acre sites are scheduled the same way, and the owner still oversees them. You'll always be told the real timeline before you sign anything.

Paying for it

Nobody budgets for a parking lot.

A failing lot does not wait for a good quarter. Three ways to handle the cost.

FAQ

The questions we get asked most.

How long does a lot take?
On a smaller lot the paving itself is usually done in a single day, and from your free estimate to a finished surface is normally within a week. Bigger parking lots and commercial jobs run two to five days and are scheduled the same way.
When can I drive on it?
You can drive on new asphalt after about 24 hours. Go easy on sharp turns and heavy vehicles for the first few weeks while it fully cures.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. *0% Financing or as low as 7.99% for qualified applicants, through third-party lenders and subject to credit approval. See the financing section for the details.
Are there any discounts?
We offer a 10% discount for seniors, military and first responders. Check the box on the estimate form and it is applied to your written quote.
How often should I sealcoat?
Every two to three years for a typical lot. Sealing slows fading and surface wear, and it is far cheaper than resurfacing down the road.
Do you do commercial parking lots?
Yes. Paving, resurfacing, line striping and repairs, scheduled around your open hours so the parking lot stays usable.
What areas do you serve?
New Jersey and Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. We can geo-target other areas too, so if your town is not on the list, just ask.
Are you licensed and insured?
Fully. PA157444 in Pennsylvania and NJ13VH12360700 in New Jersey, and we carry insurance in both states.

Paving pro tips

Get more life out of what you park on.

Straight from the crew. Small things that decide whether a lot lasts eight years or eighteen.

Curing

Give new asphalt time

Keep traffic off fresh asphalt for 24 hours, and keep loaded trucks and sharp turns off it for the first few weeks while it fully cures.

Sealcoat

Seal every two to three years

Sealcoat is sunscreen for asphalt. On a normal lot, every two to three years is the sweet spot. More often than that is wasted money.

Crack repair

Chase cracks early

Water in a crack is what turns a small fix into a rebuild. Fill cracks the season they appear, before frost gets under the surface.

Heavy loads

Plan for the pressure points

Dumpster corners, delivery-truck turns, and parked trailers do far more damage than daily traffic. Those spots want a thicker section from the start, not a patch two winters later.

The base

The base is everything

A beautiful surface over a bad base fails fast. Ask anyone quoting you what they are doing under the asphalt, not just on top of it.

Timing

Pave in the right window

Spring through fall gives asphalt the temperature it needs to compact and cure. We will tell you honestly if it is too cold to do it right.
